In this lesson, we will look at making a list of instructions using sequence adverbs (順序).  
In English, we can say it a few different ways:
First,
Then, 
Next, 
After that, 
Finally,

Speaking
First,
Second, 
Third,

It is used in a number of different situations:  
  • instructions on how to do something
  • a recipe for cooking
  • giving directions ... and many more.


PATTERN

Notice how the VERB (動詞) comes after the sequence adverbs (順序). 
Notice that the VERB is in the simple form (e.g. fill, heat, place).  
Do not use "-ing" (filling, heating...).

What are some other cooking-related VERBS?
(heat, fill, place, put, boil, cut, slice, mash, chop, ...
