I have been very lucky in life.

I have had a lucky life.  I have been to many places in the world and seen many beautiful things.  I have met amazing people who have inspired me and people who have helped me.  I have learned many things from all of the many places and people in my life so far.
Please check.  Did I say a time (e.g. 1985, 2014, Monday, last year...)?   The answer is of course NO.

Present Perfect

The present perfect tense (現在完了形) is used to describe experiences.

They are usually actions that started in the past and may be continuing now.

However, the time it started is not always important.

The action is more important than the time.

You can include a time, but it is a little different.
